Separation or divorce is rarely easy. People can feel anxious and overwhelmed and find it hard to talk to an ex-partner about things that need to be discussed. Resolving things with a former partner can feel unmanageable. We are here to help. We provide a neutral venue for our impartial mediators to help separating couples look at options and work out solutions to problems, including financial matters and/or arrangements for their children, without the expense and stress of lengthy court proceedings.

What Happens In Mediation?
Mediation starts with each person having a separate discussion with the mediator (a mediation information and assessment meeting called a MIAM) to talk about the process, the family background, and funding options so that a decision can be made about whether mediation is suitable and safe for all concerned.
