Our lead mediator is Aileen Chapman; she qualified as a mediator in 1999 and was a practising family law solicitor for 38 years. Aileen is accredited with the Family Mediation Council. Our mediation meetings are all “in person”, we do not conduct Zoom/remote sessions, but MIAMs can take place by phone. Mediation meetings take place either in Alfreton or Somercotes, but we have clients from all over Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire as we are based on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.
We can in some circumstances offer shuttle mediation (where the couple are in the same building but in separate rooms) and we offer several funding options, including legal aid and financial help through the Family Mediation Voucher Scheme.
